What does Friday mean for Indian people, women to be particular?

I’ve just seen Just married with Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol. Hritika once told her husband she didn’t eat meat on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He asked her if she accidentally ate meat on Thursday what god would she pray to on Friday? It was a joke but I don’t quite get it. If you know anything about it, please, explain me.

Well that is racist, why should one day mean anything else to someone. And even more its sexist, why does it have to be women, why couldnt you have aksed what friday meant for everyone, you jerk
