does Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him) was the Second of the Two in every thing?

the Second of the Two in cave ,grave , prayer and leadership

During his final illness, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) appointed Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq to lead the Muslims in prayer and he did not accept anyone else to take his place. The fact that he was appointed to take his place in the case of minor leadership (leading the prayers) indicates that he would succeed him in the case of major leadership (as imaam or khaleefah).

We also read the following, in Shia book:
Ali ibn Abi Talib said to Zubair: “(Although) we got angry momentarily at the time of consultation (i.e. Saqifah), we can now see that Abu Bakr is the most deserving of the Caliphate: He was the companion of the Messenger of Allah in the cave. We know of his life and we know that the Messenger of Allah had ordered him to lead the prayers.” And then he (Ali) gave his Baya’ah (to Abu Bakr).
(Sharh Nahjul-Balagha Vol.1, p.132)

Shaikh Tabrasi wrote in his “al-Ihtejaj” (a classical Shia book) the following:
Tabrasi narrates from (Imam) Muhammad Baqir that when Usamah had left for Jihad when the Messenger of Allah passed away, the news reached Usamah (and) he returned with his army to Medinah. He (Usamah) saw a great number of people surrounding Abu Bakr; on seeing this, he went to question Ali ibn Abi Talib and asked: “What is this?” Ali ibn Abi Talib replied: “It is exactly what you are seeing!” Usamah asked: “Have you (also) given Baya’ah to him?” Ali ibn Abi Talib replied: “Yes.”

can you give me shia and sunni source about what you said??

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me when he was sick, ‘Call Abu Bakr for me, your father and your brother, so that I may dictate a letter. For I am worried lest someone who is ambitious says that he is more entitled to the position of leadership, but Allaah and the believers will not accept anyone other than Abu Bakr.’” (Narrated by Muslim, 2387).

    Muslim :: Book 31 : Hadith 5885
Ibn Abu Mulaika reported: I heard Ibn ‘Abbas as saying: Wlien ‘Umar b. Khatab was placed in the coffin the people gathered around him. They praised him and supplicated for him before the bier was lifted up, and I was one amongst them. Nothing attracted my attention but a person who gripped my shoulder from behind. I saw towards him and found that he was ‘Ali. He invoked Allah’s mercy upon ‘Umar and said: You have left none behind you (whose) deeds (are so enviable) that I love to meet Allah with them. By Allah, I hoped that Allah would keep you and your two associates together. I had often heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I came and there came too Abu Bakr and ‘Umar; I entered and there entered too Abu Bakr and ‘Umar; I went out and there went out too Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, and I hope and think that Allah will keep you along with them.

    Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Hanafiya:

I asked my father (’Ali bin Abi Talib), "Who are the best people after Allah’s Apostle ?" He said, "Abu Bakr." I asked, "Who then?" He said, "Then ‘Umar. " I was afraid he would say "Uthman, so I said, "Then you? He said, "I am only an ordinary person.

Stop day dreaming……Just 3 days before Prophet(saww) ordered Abubakr,Umar etc to join Usama’s army and leave madina but Prophet (saww) ordered Ali(as) to stay in madina …..that proves Ali(as) was true successor of Prophet(saww) but Abu bakr & co. disobeyed Prophet(saww) and sent Khalid to expedition

Btw there is hadith in Bukhari that tells that Umar admitted that making Abu bakr their leader was a mistake :)

    @ white horse:
Saheeh Muslim Book 013, Number 4013:
Aswad b. Yazid reported: It was mentioned before A’isha that will had been made (by the Holy Prophet) in favour of ‘Ali (as the Prophet’s first caliph), whereupon she said: When did he make will in his favour? I had been providing support to him (to the Holy Prophet) with my chest (or with my lap). He asked for a tray, when he fell in my lap (relaxing his body), and I did not realise that he had breathed his last. When did he make any will in his (’Ali’s) favour?

Aisha was duaghter of Abu bakr and enemy of Ali

Not True, Abu Bakr was supposed to be in the army of Zaid, so how is it possible that prophet appoint abu bakr to lead the muslims in prayers?

My Imam was the FIRST one to born in kaba

My Imam’s FIRST food was prophet’s saliva

1 – It was narrated from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut’im that his father said: “A woman came to the Prophet (pbuh) and he told her to come back later. She said, ‘What if I come back and do not find you?’ as if she was referring to death. He (pbuh) said, ‘If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr.’ (Bukhaari).

2 – It was narrated that Ibn Mas’ood said: “The Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) said: ‘Take as your leaders those who come after me, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar.’” (Tirmidhi).

3-It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) said to me when he was sick, ‘Call Abu Bakr for me, your father and your brother, so that I may dictate a letter. For I am worried lest someone who is ambitious says that he is more entitled to the position of leadership, but Allaah and the believers will not accept anyone other than Abu Bakr.’” (Muslim).

4 – During his final illness, the Prophet (pbuh) appointed Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq to lead the Muslims in prayer and he did not accept anyone else to take his place. The fact that he was appointed to take his place in the case of minor leadership (leading the prayers) indicates that he would succeed him in the case of major leadership (as imaam or khaleefah).
